At the Lakeshore Health Center Campus, TLC offers a 20-bed inpatient treatment center. The inpatient treatment program uses an integrated whole-person model for treating substance abuse and addiction. For admissions, call 716-951-7948.

TLC Health Network’s Derby and Cassadaga Clinics provide individual and/or group counseling to both adults and adolescents who need help maintaining a healthy recovery from drugs or alcohol use. Suboxone and Vivitrol are available as part of Medication Assisted Treatment options. Transportation assistance is available. 

Lake Shore Health Care Center’s Emergency Room in Irving is trained to assess individuals experiencing mental health issues and active withdrawal or anticipation of withdrawal from alcohol or drugs. Individualized evaluation is completed to determine the best possible treatment options.

Turning Point House is an intensive residential rehabilitation 21-bed facility for men who were unable to achieve long-term recovery from substance use in previous attempts. ECMC offers individuals and families comprehensive alcohol and drug addiction rehab services, with inpatient and outpatient programs to support patients with their needed level of care. The Margaret A. Stutzman Addiction Treatment Center is an inpatient residential rehabilitation program which is medically supervised. Special treatment services are available for women, pregnant women, trauma survivors and those with a mental health diagnosis. 

PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) Programs

For individuals with a mental health diagnosis as well as struggles with substance abuse, PROS programs are another treatment option. PROS programs offer individualized services addressing mental health, substance abuse, vocational skills, and other aspects of recovery. PROS programs are available through many agencies and organizations.

Peer Supports and Outreach

Peer supports can be a vital piece of the recovery process. From helping a person make the decision to seek treatment, to supporting a person through recovery, a peer support who has lived experience and training can make a difference.

Seneca Strong uses a peer outreach and recovery support model. Peer outreach is conducted by trained peers who serve as positive role models and help reduce overdose and death by heroin/opioid use. Recovery supports include a drop in recreation center, access to support groups and local 12 step groups. Recovery Support Services are available to enrolled members of the Seneca Nation. Outreach services are available to anyone.

Addict 2 Addict is a team of peers, in addiction recovery themselves and who have family members with addiction, who share their recovery experience to individuals deciding whether they are ready to take the first steps towards recovery. Peers are able to provide information and referrals to inpatient and outpatient treatment options.

Once the recovery process has started, support groups can help a person stay focused on recovery and provide caring support along the way. Support groups also exist to assist family members who have loved ones affected by addiction.

​The Syringe Exchange offers substance users clean needles and works as a way to promote safer injection habits, and safely disposes of used syringes that are returned to the program. This helps reduce the spread of Hepatitis C and HIV due to needle sharing. Evergreen Health also offers free Hepatitis C and HIV testing and care coordination services.

Oxford Houses are family houses that groups of recovering individuals rent to live together in an environment supportive of recovery from addiction. Each house is self-run and self-supported following a system of democratic operation. There are also Oxford Houses in the Buffalo area and Northern Pennsylvania. The Eagle's Nest provides respite stays in a peaceful and calming environment that promotes health and wellness. The Eagle's Nest is a short term (1-5 days) peer-run respite home operating in a capacity similar to a bed and breakfast for individuals struggling with mental health issues. Individuals who are facing a challenging time during recovery can use the Eagle's Nest as a place to get away and refocus on recovery. 24 hour peer support is available.
