Call the Cattaraugus County Addiction Helpline at 1-866-851-5033 for help navigating treatment and recovery options. The Helpline is available Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 8-5 and Tuesday from 10-7.

​CAReS offers outpatient treatment, residential services and supportive living services to assist with recovery. Additionally, CAReS offers Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), utilizing Suboxone and Vivitrol. Outpatient services are offered at locations in Olean, Gowanda, Machias, Salamanca and Randolph.

Bradford Regional Medical Center offers an intensive outpatient treatment program for individuals with substance use disorders and dependencies. They also offer Medication Assisted Treatment. A dual diagnosis inpatient treatment program is available for individuals who have both a psychiatric and substance abuse disorder.

Brooks-TLC Hospital System
​Cassadaga, Derby and Irving, NY

At the Lakeshore Health Center Campus, TLC offers a 20-bed inpatient treatment center. The inpatient treatment program uses an integrated whole-person model for treating substance abuse and addiction. For admissions, call 716-951-7948.

TLC Health Network’s Derby and Cassadaga Clinics provide individual and/or group counseling to both adults and adolescents who need help maintaining a healthy recovery from drugs or alcohol use. Suboxone and Vivitrol are available as part of Medication Assisted Treatment options. Transportation assistance is available. 

Lake Shore Health Care Center’s Emergency Room in Irving is trained to assess individuals experiencing mental health issues and active withdrawal or anticipation of withdrawal from alcohol or drugs. Individualized evaluation is completed to determine the best possible treatment options.

Turning Point House

Turning Point House is an intensive residential rehabilitation 21-bed facility for men who were unable to achieve long-term recovery from substance use in previous attempts. The house is a program of Cazenovia Recovery Systems. They also operate additional residential treatment programs in and around Buffalo.

ECMC offers individuals and families comprehensive alcohol and drug addiction rehab services, with inpatient and outpatient programs to support patients with their needed level of care. Inpatient services include medically supervised detoxification and inpatient rehabilitation programs. Outpatient services are offered at three clinics in Buffalo.

The Margaret A. Stutzman Addiction Treatment Center is an inpatient residential rehabilitation program which is medically supervised. Special treatment services are available for women, pregnant women, trauma survivors and those with a mental health diagnosis. 

PROS (Personalized Recovery Oriented Services) Programs

For individuals with a mental health diagnosis as well as struggles with substance abuse, PROS programs are another treatment option. PROS programs offer individualized services addressing mental health, substance abuse, vocational skills, and other aspects of recovery. PROS programs are available through many agencies and organizations.
