Once the recovery process has started, support groups can help a person stay focused on recovery and provide caring support along the way. Support groups also exist to assist family members who have loved ones affected by addiction.

Narcotics Anonymous Meetings
Narcotics Anonymous meetings offer recovery through working a twelve-step program. The group atmosphere allows peers to support each other in the recovery process. Meetings are held in various locations throughout the county and surrounding areas. Addiction Response Ministry
Meetings are at various locations and times. Meeting details are available at the Addiction Response Ministry website. Jamestown, NY (716) 222-0299 Addiction Response Ministry offers two support groups. The We Believe group provides a safe place for discussion and mutual understanding for all those who are addicted and hurting. The group is based on the 12 steps of AA and uses the Life Recovery Bible. The Clean, Sober, and Saved series provides information on how to get free and stay free from addiction. |
